Cupid’s Arrow

This is what I wrote to my husband on his Valentine card.

Today is Valentine’s Day and after been married for 31 years I just want to thank you for being patience, loving, and caring. We have our ups and downs but we still love and care for each other.

I love you very much. You have been there when I need you the most.  You have taken care of me over the years from my cancer treatment to the injury I got last week.

You always tell me we don’t need expensive gifts or special days to show that we love and care for each other.  We don’t need to show and tell and it’s true. We’re there for each other and that’s what matters.

Thank you for the beautiful flowers and for the chocolates they are my favorites.   We will have a cozy night like every night and watch our favorites TV shows.

I just want to say, “I love you very much”.
