Happily Ever After

“And they lived happily ever after.” Think about this line for a few minutes. Are you living happily ever after? If not, what will it take for you to get there?

What is Happily Ever After?

I’ve been married for 32 years and like everyone we have our ups and downs. I love my husband, however there are days he can be obnoxious and I want to smack him. I’m sure the feelings are vice versa. I’ve been blessed for having him in my life.

He’s such a great man. He helps me with the cooking. For years I’ve cooked during the weekdays and my husband takes care of the weekends. We both take care of the house chores. There is a chore he doesn’t like doing the laundry otherwise we divide the work.

We take care of each other when one of us is sick. I honestly can say he spoils me more that I spoil him.  If I don’t want to drive when is snowing, he will drive me to work as I said I’m blessed.

We treat each other with respect and love. We are growing old together and we will be together for the rest of our life.

To me, this is my happily ever after.
