Anyone who knows me can say that I’m a person who cries easily with a lovely story. I can be watching a TV show, a movie or reading an excellent book.
My grandkids laugh every time they notice I’m crying, however they realize if I cry means it has to be great.
The last time I cry not because a TV show or a book was when my youngest son graduated from college a month ago. When I look at him in his gown I become emotional and tear up. I remember the sacrifices he has to do to finish his education.
The joy we all feel that day, especially when they call his name and receives his diploma. These are the moments that will always be in my heart.

This is nice. Every time you mention you’re a grandmother, I cannot believe it! I hope I look like an awesome grandma like you one day 😉

I’m a crier too and stopped being embarrassed about it long ago. I take it as a sign of recognition of how sweet life can be during our short time here. Congratulations on your son’s graduation. A cry-worthy event to be sure.
