I’ve put away all my summer outside décor and all the clothes. The memory of our wonderful summer is hiding in buckets except for my granddaughter beach towel. She wants to keep it as a blanket because is long, soft, and has her favorite character in the print my little pony. Her cat Perseus thinks the same way as she; he likes to sleep on it.
It’s getting colder outside the sign of winter is arriving it has been foggy; it’s raining with a chance of snow. So what’s for supper tonight? I’m thinking about Chicken Tortilla soup or Chicken Wild Rice. A bowl of soup will keep us warm and cozy on a day like this also a cup of hot cocoa would be the perfect combination.
Today we are celebrating Veteran’s day we have the day off and we are taking a day to relax and watch some movies. To my husband who served in the Army and retired after 25 years and all the veterans who served to protect our country thank you very much and enjoy the celebration.
