I use to watch and love musical movies. They’re my favorite, however at one point I begin to find them, annoying. I never understood what happened or the why. It’s not until last year when my granddaughter introduced me “The Greatest Showman”. Of course, I check the reviews and they’re good. We watched the musical together and I fall in love with the movie and the songs. It became my granddaughter favorite musical and also mine. Her dream is to visit New York to watch “Hamilton”.
Later, I remember some of my favorite musicals and I’ll like to share some with you. Here are a few of the ones I love also I’ll like to share the ones I didn’t like that much.

I think Hollywood forgot how to do musicals by 1970, although I have to say that “Hairspray” was pretty good. The best time was the late ’50’s-early ’60’s, with the ones you chose. At least those are the ones I like, along with “Paint Your Wagon,” “Fiddler On The Roof,” “Flower Drum Song” and “Camelot,” for starters.
