We dropped The Cable a few years ago to subscribe to Dish TV. This service lasts around 3 years until they began dropping some channels. However, the bill payment didn’t drop a penny. We lost some of our favorite channels like HBO, Cinemax, and all my Spanish channels. To watch my telenovelas, they offer us a Latino channel package it ended being more expensive if we decide to add it.
We call customer service if they have something to offer us as an upgrade on the DVR box, I want the Hopper box. Their response was a big NO. I always think about what kind of employees prefer to lose a customer instead of offering a better deal. Employees like that it’s what ruins a business, and supposedly a great company.
We bought an antenna so we can watch the local channels and subscribe to Netflix, Hulu, and Prime. And a free year of Disney plus thanks to Verizon also we are saving money.
