SoCS~”above/below”

Until the middle of January, we have a mild winter. Then the winds and the front cold air starts and boom we are bundle head to toe. I was watching the weather channel and there is a storm in every part of the USA.  The past two weeks have been the worse with frigid cold weather. No above temperature just below.

My husband’s car didn’t start the engine and the battery is dead. We have been sharing my car and he has to drive me to work. The kids at the school have inside recess and they are getting cranky and loud. We all need the fresh air.  My poor dog goes outside and he ran back to the house.

Yesterday we broke the record.  This cold feels similar to sharp needles in your face. I feel like a popsicle. Also, my knees have been suffering from this weather.

As you can see, we have good news it’s going to warm up. Yeah, it’s going to be in the double digits. I’m loving the word “above”.

  1. That is unbearably cold! When I lived in Alaska, head-bolt heaters were a staple for every car owner, lest the car would not start. I am glad to have left that kind of cold in the past. I hope you get a break soon.
