SoCS & JusJoJan “ow” Jan 4, 2020

The past few days we got enough snow for the girls to build their snowman before heading back to Arizona. All 4 of my grandkids were making the snowman and having a snowball fight. They have a lot of fun.

This morning, meanwhile the girls are sleeping, I finish packing their luggage. The girls are flying tonight. It was a wonderful Christmas vacation. Everyone enjoys the time together and now the girls who came with one luggage and leaving with two. After tonight, I would start taking down the Christmas decorations and start working on some of my to-do lists. For now, it’s time for another cup of coffee.

SoCS & JusJoJan is hosted by Linda G. Hill.

Remembering our Heroes

Let’s Honor our Heroes!

A day to Remember and Honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our military.

As we Honor, the Brave we say, Thank you so much for your services on this Memorial Day! Let’s take a moment to pray for those who sacrificed their lives and for the loved ones they left behind.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

It’s Valentine’s Day and I’m secluded at home. I went to the Dr. yesterday with both of my arm cover in a red, itchy rash. It’s a virus maybe I catch it at the school or at home. The Dr. says is airborne and the kids carry this virus as a dormant virus. I’m lucky it’s not contagious, however it’s uncomfortable. It hurts and it’s desperately itchy. The Dr. prescribes a steroid and Benadryl to stop the madness. Those are the exact words my Dr. says to me. It was actually pretty funny when she saw my arms and looking at me, she says, “what the heck?” I’ve to be out of school for the next two days in case it gets worse. So here I am at my home bored and thinking another Valentine Day at the house. We were planning to go to Olive Garden. Also, it makes me think it’s over 10 years we don’t have a romantic dinner at a restaurant.

I supposed I’ll prepare dinner and unfortunately, I can’t have any wine. That’s a bummer! My husband will bring flowers and my favorite chocolate candies.

To everyone who celebrate Valentine’s Day, the day of love and friendship, have a marvelous day with lots and lots of love. Remember, Valentine’s Day should be celebrated everyday and recognize the people who we love and care.

Happy Mother’s Day!

I’ve the most wonderful day. We celebrate Mother’s Day here in the USA and I’ve been blessed spending the time with my kids. I got flowers and chocolate from them and my husband made a great meal. We enjoy the nice weather and now the day is almost over I feel blessed to have a wonderful family. To all the moms out there I hope you did have a great day like mine.

To my mother in heaven, thank you for giving me life and raised me the way I am today! I love you and you always be in my heart.

#JusJoJan daily Prompt January 15, 2018~Justice

Today in the USA we are celebrating Martin Luther King Jr birthday. Do we actually celebrate his birthday? Do we know exactly “The Dream Speech”? What kind of man he was? My personal opinion it’s another regular day with no school, no government offices open, and for businesses attracts customer with phony discounts. It’s a sad statement, but true.

We should be celebrating the life and achievements of this magnificent civil right leader. He would be 89. I wake up this morning to watch the News and they’re only talking about President Trump and his ridiculous remarks about racism. President Trump is dividing our country with his lies and vulgarity. I wonder what Martin Luther King would say regarding the racist remarks from the President. Where is Justice when we need it?

In response for Linda G Hill- JusJoJan- January 15, 2018.  #JusJoJan Daily Prompt for today is Justice by Barb at Gallimaufry.

Happy Labor Day!

Happy Monday I’m taking a break from the computer heading to the lake for the last time. That’s right camping season would end with Labor Day. We’re bringing our camper back home and take it to the storage until next year. The weather for today feels good to be in the 80s. I can’t believe that summer is almost over.

My grandkids are already asking when I’m decorating for Halloween. Oh my lets enjoy the last few weeks of summer. I want to enjoy my garden and a little more of sunshine. Soon we all will be wearing coats, hats, and gloves. Burr.

Happy Labor Day! Enjoy your day shopping, relaxing at your homes, or like me at the lake.

See you soon!
