#JusJoJan prompt the 31st “Candy”

I always have a sweet tooth. I crave candies all the time.  I have type 2 diabetes and I need to be more careful.  I have to take three different types of pills to control my sugar levels. So, you can imagine when those cravings start it’s tough to stop. It has been a challenge. I clean up my house of all sweets. However, my big challenge it’s at work. They always have sweets in the lounge and it’s tough to ignore. My favorite candy is chocolate kisses. And with Valentine’s day approaching who can resist. My family knows best and they won’t buy anything, but I’m worried when I’m at work.  Sorry, I’m weak.  I loved chocolate kisses and yes, too weak. Hooray for candy!

#JusJoJan prompt the 18th~ “Wish”

Where is the genie? I will love to be granted a few wishes. One of them would be the Covid-19 been completely gone forever. Second, on Wednesday, Jan 20th a peaceful Presidential inauguration. It’s time to heal all the hatred and the nastiness. It should stay in the past. No more racism and hatred. We can have our differences and have respect for others. We need to move and to show our children there still hope for them. Adults need to stop acting childless. Enough it’s enough. That’s my “wish”.

#SoCS & #JusJoJan 2021 Daily Prompt – Jan. 16th-“first thing”

Your prompt for #JusJoJan and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “first thing.” Start your post with the words, “first thing” and go from there. Bonus points if you end your post with the last thing. Have fun!

I always have “first things” to do at different times of the day. The first thing I do when I wake up, the first thing when I get to work, and the first thing when I get home. And this morning, this prompt was supposed to be the first thing I will do before starting to clean. Guess what. I forgot and now it’s my last thing before I go to bed.

JusJoJan prompt the 10th~”cheese”

How many people grew up thinking the moon was made of cheese? That was the story my mother told us when we were kids. She loves making all kinds of stories and the story of the moon been made of cheese was our favorite. I don’t remember all the details of the story it has been a long time ago.

However, the funny part was this little mouse name Miguel who by mistake gets into this spacecraft. Miguel came out of the spacecraft and he gets lost. The astronauts did their work and leave the moon except for Miguel who is trying to get back to the spacecraft. It was too late when he got there.  He begins to get hungry and took a chunk of cheese. The moon was upset because she was there to give us light at night.

Well, I can’t remember what happened next, but for us it was special. I should look at her notebooks she has lots of cute notes.

JusJoJanuary Day 26~ “Busy”

Your prompt for JusJoJan January 26th, 2020, is “busy.” Use the word “busy” any way you’d like. Enjoy!

This is the last week of January and I have not accomplished anything from the list I wrote at the beginning of the month. My journal has not been touched since I wrote it because I have been sick since January 3rd.

I have a terrible cold. It looks it doesn’t want to go away. I have a sore throat, fever, headaches and a terrible cough. This cold has been the worst I ever had. After a day at work, I go home directly to bed.

Can you believe I still have my Christmas decorations? My house is a mess and finally, I began doing some laundry. This past week I begin to feel a little better so I’m getting busy with chores. I’m in my 5th bottle of cold medicine and hoping I can get some stuff done. At least I want my Christmas tree, put away.

I hope the month of February treats me a litter better and I want to accomplish more from the list. It’s time to be busy.

JusJoJan Day 19: “Gobbledygook”

Your prompt for JusJoJan January 19th, 2020, is “gobbledygook.” Use the word “gobbledygook” any way you’d like. Have fun!

Gobbledygook or gibberish a funny way to make our own words and make them have sense. Especially when we are playing scrabble and want to win the game. I do that all the time.

JusJoJan 2020: Day 16~ experience

This morning I hire a person to work in our school cafeteria. When they post the position they ask for resumes, recommendations, and they ask for experience. However, in my opinion, I prefer a person with no or a little experience. Since I can train the person the way I want them to work. I can’t stand when I’m training and the person begins saying in my other job I did it this way. How many times I will like to say to them, you are not working in the other place. How many times I have to remind them we have to follow the school district regulations. That’s one of the reasons I prefer a no experience applicant and the majority of the time they become better employees.
