My sister sends me on Facebook a page of a young man that she wants me to follow. I didn’t know this young man was an inspiration for so many people. His page has more than 34,000 followers his name Raul Alexis a young man battling three different kinds of cancer. When I start to follow him I did it to please my sister. Then I notice the way he will help other patients with prayers, his music, and a Christian speaker.
I’ll start to pray for Raul and for the other cancer patients. Raul was the same age of my younger son. His journey will keeps me checking on his page. I was amazed how Raul has the strength in helping others. His courage and his faith will touch people’s heart. In all the pictures he posts I saw him smiling.
Every time I went to his page and he will post his progress I will pray for him and his family. Looking at him so thin, his pale face, and no hair will bring me the memories of my own treatment. I realized that God gave me a second chance. I need to make a change and quick.
Last month Raul passed away. I remember the day he died in his page people will posted sad and tears faces The majority of us didn’t know him personally, however his message and his faith will inspire thousands of followers.
