Daily Post: Is it possible to be too honest, or is honesty always the best policy?
I consider myself an honest person; also I’m careful not to hurt anyone feeling.
I have family members who ask and want my honest opinion.
I smiled to them and said; “do you want the truth or you want me to lie”.
Usually they end saying to me; “don’t bother or I don’t want to know anyway”.
Over the years I’ve met a few people who don’t care about others. They love to embarrass and to make them feel inferior. They don’t care if they offend others. Those are the ones that I don’t need in my life and told my kids to stay away from them.
Don’t confuse the meaning of honesty with being rude.
Don’t do to others what you don’t want others to do to you.
